Glebe Youth Service receives invaluable support from partner organisations including:
Teentime is a drop- in program for 12-18 year olds – providing a safe space for young people in the Glebe area to handout and connect with friends and youth workers in a positive, judgment free supportive environment.
Young people have ownership over the space and activities and staff are responsive to needs and requests. It provides a platform for young people to voice their opinions and ideas on to improve our service and to raise issues that are important to them. It is space where young people can confidentially and safely request individual advice and support.
Girlzone is a program exclusively for young women (aged 12-16) in Glebe and runs during school terms every Tuesday 3 – 5pm, in partnership with City of Sydney.
We meet to share stories, discuss what matters, and support each other. A new program is developed with input by the group members each term, so it’s never the same experience twice. As with most programs at Glebe Youth Service, a nutritious, balanced meal is also prepared each week.
The various activities and workshops are run within Glebe Youth Service as well as excursions out in the community.
Homework Club is run at Sydney Secondary College Balmain Campus for students who want some help with homework, assignments and general queries in a safe, supportive and fun environment. Contact Us to get our running times in 2020.
